Beautiful Fenton cased cranberry opalescent pitcher with a teal crest.
Made for the Connoisseur Collection 1988. Limited to 3500 pieces.
From the 1988 June Supplement:
”Handblown and Cased Collector's Treasures
Pure gold is the basic ingredient in the vase and pitcher.
An opalescent outer layer of glass is then introduced to an optic and teal edging is skillfully spun by the Fenton
craftsman. The vase is then iridized for an extra touch.”
Has a couple small inclusions in the glass, see pictures.
Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches tall.
